Monthly Military Appreciation dinners are typically held on the third Thursday of the month at the American Legion in Apple Valley located at 14521 Granada.

We invite all current military and veterans and their families to join together for a delicious meal. Following the meeting we have variety, ranging from speakers, informational topics, or entertainment.

Doors open at 5:00 with dinner served starting at 5:30.

IMPORTANT: Dinners are ordered from the Legion based on the number of reservations we receive. To ensure we have enough meals ordered, please RSVP via either button above. Thanks!

January 15 - Tatortot hotdish, breadstick
February 19 - Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and Corn
March 19 - Chicken Wild Rice Soup, Salad and Breadsticks
April 16 - Open Beef Sandwich, Au Gratin Potatoes and Green Beans
May 21 - Boneless Chicken, Mac & Cheese and Breadsticks
June 18 - Burger, Pasta Salad and Chips
JULY - No Dinner
August 20 - Pulled Pork Sandwich, Cole Slaw and Chips
September 17 - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Salad and Breadsticks
October 15 - Spinach Artichoke Chicken, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Dinner Roll
November 19 - Turkey, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, and Stuffing
DECEMBER - No Dinner

Entertainment

We don’t just host our dinners to enjoy good food and comradery, we periodically have great entertainment as well!

At our November dinner we were honored to have the Velvet Tones Choir, a community choral group of senior adults who have been making music together for over 20 years. They sang many fan favorites including the theme song for each military branch. A member of the Velvet Tones is Tom Werner from our own Beyond the Yellow Ribbon chapter.
